  • Are you a Nursery?
    Yes, Jo-Da Bonsai is a commercial Bonsai grower and distributor of Bonsai, Tools and accessories.
  • When are you open?
    Our Nursery is open Fridays from 13h00 to 16h00. Saturday and Sundays from 10h00 to 16h00. We are open most public holidays. We are closed on Mondays. Our office hours, Tuesday to Friday are from 09h00 to 16h00. Visit by appointment only. We are closed from 23 December to 5 January.
  • How to I order?
    View the items you would like to purchase, add them to your virtual shopping basket by clicking ADD TO CART button. When you are done adding the items you would lie, click the CART button and a list of the items you have added appears. You can edit the items in your basket, increasing the quantity or removing. To proceed, click the PROCEED button. Creating an account is optional, but if you think you may ordeer again, it saves time to create an account as well as your details will be saved such as your delivery address and billing details. If you have a voucker please copy and paste it exactly into the box provided; it is the box on the right hand side of your screen under you order with the word DISCOUNT. Click the CONTINUE TO SHIPPING METHOD button to continue. All available shipping options will be presented to you. Choose the option that suits you. Click the CONTINUE TO PAYMENT METHOD button. If you are paying with a credit card, please choose the "Yoco" option. If paying via EFT, select the correct box. Press COMPLETE ORDER to continue payment. Your order is confirm only on reciept of payment from Yoco or by proof of payment when doing an EFT. You will receive a copy of your order by email as well as subsequent notifications about shipping.
  • What are your payment terms?
    We only accept South African Rand (ZAR). All orders must be placed and paid in full online. For urgent orders, please call us for assistance. We accept all major credit cards (we do not store credit card information, and this is handled through a 3rd party encrypted connection). We also accept EFT (direct payment), and require proof of payment sent to info@jodabonsai.com, please use your order number as reference. We accept all major cards online with Yoco. Please click the "Yoco" logo to continue with online payment for debit and credit cards.
  • Do you offer wholesale?
    We offer wholesale to a number of retailers and outlets. Please email us here for Wholesale enquiry
  • How do I cancel my order?
    Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped and a full refund will be done. Unfortunately, if the order has already been dispatched, we are unable to cancel the order. All order cancellations must be sent to by email to info@jodabonsai.com with the subject line Order Cancellation.
  • Would you offer workshops outside of your Nursery?
    We have, and still do workshops at retailers, Social groups, schools and the like. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
  • Can I get training/lessons?
    We regularly do workshops, covering the basics of Bonsai, Intermediate and Advances, including pruning and styling. We regularly update information on our Instagram and Facebook pages. Please follow us on these for regular updates on our workshops.
  • Can you assist with my Bonsai, pruning, styling and repotting?"
    We can assist, please make an appointment and bring your Bonsai, and we will work with you at our Nursery for any pruning, styling and/or reporting.
  • What is your shipping policy?
    We exclusively use a door to door service provided by The Courier Guy. NO OTHER service is used. Each prder which is fulfilled has a unique tracking link which is automatically emailed to you. This enables you to check where your order is and when it is out for delivery.
  • What is your returns and breakage policy?
    We use double walled cardboard boxes for all hardware, and particularly pots. We endeavour to pack all orders securely to avoid breakages. However, should you recieve items broken in your order, please notify us immediatly. If the product return is a result of our error or a defective product, please notify us immediately and item (s) must be returned within 14 days of purchase. We will, on reciept of the error, or defect item(s) ship correct, at our cost, or a full refund if required.
  • How do I track my order?
    We will provide you with a tracking number for your order.
